No Tax for a "To Go" item on a Dine-In Check

We need this in Ohio. I thought when the Sales Tax update was made to be item level tax, it would work, but it doesn't. For example, a customer is having dinner (Dine-In) and wants to get an entree "To Go" as well. We add the item to the "Dine-In" check and mark it as a "To Go" item. We need the tax to be removed from just that item. Right now, we have to enter a separate check and then the customer has to pay for both checks. This ultimately causes the merchants to incur additional transactions and fees as well.

I would like to have a report that only lists our customers name, house account number and current account balance.

Can linga create a report that I can download into an excel spreadsheet that only lists the customers name, house account number and account balance?   The report options I have in the back office are too cumbersome as they include every single transaction.

Identify the discount by name on the receipt and cashouts. Not just the total of discounts applied.

when single or multiple discounts are applied to a bill, an itemized breakdown is required on receipts and cashout.  this is critical for reconciling.  All POS have this feature

To-Go Service Type Filter in Sales Summary Report

RUZO Restaurant is our new customer. They have multiple mode of phone orders.. They are tracking using Phone-ToGO, ToGo, FoHere, Delivery

As of now we don't have "To-Go" Service Type Filter in Sales Summary Report.. Please make this filter available in Sales Summary report in our next BO production release

Pop up Dialog box when hitting Finish before funding ticket

Have a toggle button in the back office in Application Settings or even on POS settings screen on POS that you can Flag on or off. So if the cashier picks order type FORHERE or TOGO and hits the finish button before tendering the check it brings up a dialog box asking "Check not paid are you sure?" with the choice of cancel or ok. Would even be better if this can be permissioned based to for the cashier to only be able to hit cancel and pay the ticket. But let the OK button be pressed by a manager permission level. But the second permission part is not necessary. By doing this it would give the FORHERE and TOGO to have more of a QSR feel where you cannot move to the next ticket without paying the open ticket.

Modifiers Print Color

Gave the ability on each individual modifier to be able to print in black or red.  Not globally but on each individual modifier

Gratuity Column on Daily Sale and/or Sale Summary Report

We would like to request that a column for gratuity be added to either the Sale Summary report and/or the Daily Sale report. The current format roles the gratuity into the Gross Receipt. This would make it much easier for the merchant to quickly see what tickets have gratuity added without having to search in other reports.

auto log off time needs to be as low as a few seconds.

Hi,

I'm submitting this because the previous similar post is labeled COMPLETE but this feature needs to be amended.

You have this auto log off feature set with a minimum 5 minutes log off. That is definitely not low enough. This setting needs to allow in seconds. When an employee walks away from the terminal and forgets to log off, there's always another employee that comes in within seconds and settles their own table on the previous employee number and that affects the cashout report and tips of all employees concerned. Please change this ASAP to allow as low as a few seconds. I have POS clients that are really not happy about all the extra work to sort out the cashout reports and tip of their employees.

Here is the scenario

Client orders 2 pizzas.

Pizza 1 – $10.00

+ topping $1.00

+ topping $1.00

Pizza 1 price $12.00

Pizza 2 – $11.00

Right now you are taking off Pizza 1 (-10.00) because of its base price being lower. The pizza and the addon toppings need to be considered one whole unit for comparing price

The addons or priced modifiers, whatever you like to call them, need to roll into the price of the pizza.
