Sales Recap - Discount Tax

Indiasupport 4 years ago in Backoffice 0

Discount Tax is visible on Sales Recap Report and Day End– however, Discount is applied before Tax in the Back Office for all Discounts!

Thus should not be visible on any report! Since if it's visible, local Authorities will ask for the discounted Tax! Pls, remove or disable.

Kitchen Label issues

Hardy Singh 4 years ago in Printers 0

Hello, I was wondering if there were any other options for templates or the customization of templates for kitchen labels?
The reason for this is that having the modifiers being only separated by commas can be a little confusing for some orders particularly when our baristas have to look at a label quickly and differentiate between items like mango flavor and mango fruit. In quick service
Problems

KitchenLabels_LI.jpg

currenttemplate.jpg

  1. Modifier text continues to next line. Our modifiers are grouped into mostly 3 different categories: Flavors, Fruits and Add-ons (Bursters, Gels, Puddings and Others). Some items like strawberry and mango can have many versions of these so when they cut off on the label it can make it harder to read.
  2. There is wasted space in the header. We do not use the take out, to go, for here functions so this is unnecessary space on the labels. If we disable this the space isn't actually saved. A blank spot will just appear.

Possible Solutions

  1. Have a setting in the back office for the label printer that if ticked, modifiers will not carry over to the next line unless it is a complete word.
  2. I assume this is like that because of character limits with the Customer name. Perhaps this can be solved by adding character limits if that button is ticked. That way the Customer name can be moved to that space allowing an extra line to be used for modifiers.
    1. Additionally I think giving your users the ability to customize these labels would be greatly helpful. While I realize this could be difficult if our employees could see modifiers in a list type view it could solve a lot of the problems we are having right now. At the very least if we cannot customize, having more templates to choose from would be amazing. My handwriting is much bigger than the font options on the label so I think a template like this would work

Questions

  1. Will the Priority under Modifier groups affect the order of Modifiers on the kitchen labels? We would like to keep a consistent order for our modifiers. Will this solve that issue? For example, if I set the Flavor Groups with a priority of 1 and the sweetness level groups a priority of 2 then will the ordering carry over to the Labels as well?

Customer Phone Number on confirmation emai

Is it possible to include the customers phone number on the email confirmations? This would help the customers realize they have given an incorrect or incomplete phone number.

Thanks

Disabling Modifiers at Serving Size Level

lnegron 4 years ago in IOS updated by Brad Bryant 3 years ago 1

Allow the functionality where we can disable/enable certain modifiers and/or modifier groups based on the serving size level. Example:

Menu Item: Ice Cream Cone

When serving size "Large" is selected, modifiers A, B, C, and D are available

When serving size "Small" is selected, only modifiers A and B are available

Minimum/Maximum amount of an order on OLO under throttling settings

vgambhir 4 years ago in Online Ordering 0

Throttling settings should have a condition of minimum/maximum amount of an order for OLO.
For example - if an order is under 50$ then the estimated time of preparation should be set to 10 mins and if the total order amount is over 50$ then the estimated time of preparation should be set to 20 to 30 mins.

Apply Item-Based Loyalty like Item-Based Discount

Travis Williams 4 years ago in Loyalty 0

When allowing a large number of items to be available for Item-Based Loyalty redemption, the operator must order the item through the loyalty screen.

It would be much easier for the operator to be able to also order the item and deduct the points by selecting the item, then either select discount, or add a loyalty button to this screen so they can apply loyalty reward.

rounding to the nearest 10 cents

John Blignaut 4 years ago updated by Gerardo L 3 years ago 2

add a flag to allow the check to round to the nearest 10c. e.g the check total is 4.37, round up to 4.40 the check total is 4.33 round down to 4.30. this happens when using scale items. the weight x price per kg gives you the unwanted decimals

Front end receipts

Joyce 4 years ago updated by Ryan Nicley 4 years ago 2

Is it possible to have an option to show modifiers and/or attachments on a front end receipt? When we are making our bags for orders we sometimes need to use the front end receipt, not the kitchen print, to prepare the bags. When you have multiple hamburgers, etc. coming out at same time we need to know what bag they go in

General quality of life features list

Chris M. 4 years ago in POS updated 4 years ago 0

My requested feature list entails:

-Complete 1:1 export on a store configuration.(not just a menu item database.)

-The ability to jump from a menu item button to another screen/category from a category.(think categories within categories but on a menu item level.) For Example, I’m in the Liquor category and I have a Tequila menu item button which swaps to the tequila category.

-Allow for more customizable functions to be attached to the command
line ribbon- third party payments, a genuine tend even or quick cash
button(wherein a user can with a single press even out a check for a
0.00 amount- closing the check in the process.).

-A grid for moving around and placing buttons freely with parameters and
alignment tools to specify the exact spot in which the button is placed.

-The Ability to place buttons on a canvas and separate buttons out for both menu items and modifiers.

-The ability to place text for captions inside categories to break up and segments items and modifiers.

-The ability to capture credit cards without pre-auth.

-The Ability to turn on or off Seats.

-A toggle for turning off or on the courses feature where "No Courses" is no longer needed.

Sort by Modifier Name on Modifies Sale Report

Ryan Nicley 4 years ago in Backoffice updated 8 months ago 2

It would be very nice to be able to sort by Modifier name on the Modifier Sale report. Many times we are using Modifiers for side items on entrees and when a customer wants to see how many of a particular side has sold during a given date range, it would be easier for them to be able to simply sort by the modifier name. They would still have to do some math, but it would be helpful.

It would be even better to be able to group by modifier name and sum up the totals for each modifier.

For now, I showed the customer how to export into Excel and then do the sort manually.
