Name Checks after splitting check.

Jason G 1 year ago in POS updated by Ryan Nicley 1 year ago 1

When splitting checks, if the check is named it would be a major improvement if the subsequent checks caused by the split would have something other than the default Walkin name.  For example, if a check is named Jason and you split it 3 ways, have it name the others "Jason (2)" and "Jason (3)".  Currently if there are any other tabs not named, its a pain to sift through and try to find your checks based on the items they ordered.

Manual SMS Order Ready Alerts

Dan Kratzke 2 years ago in POS 0

Plenty of requests asking for this, but all marked as completed because KDS can handle.    This functionality needs to be offered as a manual operation, as well.    Not sure if Toast has this functionality, but Heartland Restaurant sure does, and it's a necessary feature enhancement to keep up with competitors.

Set Price on Modifier defaults to all Sizes

Dan Kratzke 2 years ago in Backoffice 0

Currently, if you are setting the price on the modifier with "Set Price," you have to set a price for all sizes that modifier may be used for.     Would be nice to be able to choose ALL SIZES to set the price on.

Auto Log Off override by node

Dan Kratzke 2 years ago in POS updated by Ryan Nicley 2 years ago 1

Currently, auto log off time is a system setting across all nodes.   Would be beneficial to be able to override this setting on a specific node in POS Settings where other overrides reside.   Often times, bar tablets need to auto log off at 3600 sec so they don't have to log into the software for every transaction, but server tablets need to auto log off at 30 sec so waitstaff don't accidentally ring in orders under the previous employee.   Currently, the work around is to set server roles to AUTO LOG OFF after a transaction, but that requires servers to log back in every time they complete an order and they may be wanting to ring in items for multiple tables while on the tablet.

Printer spacing

Ismael 2 years ago in Printers 0

I'm having a huge problem with Linga printer setting. I'm coming from ordersnapp and as you can see with ordersnapp they space out the each item for cookers to see. For Linga everything is all together in one. Nobody can't understand it. As of right now I'm using a pen to split up each item so the cooker can see. I might consider leaving at this point.

Add separator between items on kitchen print

Gerardo L 3 years ago in Printers updated 2 years ago 2

Add a form of separation between every item on kitchen print, could be a line or just a another space (LF on esc/pos), as of now everything prints close together and sometimes causes confusion.

Barcode Scanning Ticket Recall

Eric L 3 years ago in POS updated by Ryan Nicley 3 years ago 1

We need to be able to recall active tickets at cash registers by scanning barcodes on ticket summaries. There is already the ability to add barcodes to receipts, but for high volume locations, it is faster by orders of magnitude to be able to access a ticket by scanning a barcode than by searching for ticket/table #.

Inventory UOM restriction

mani1981 3 years ago in Inventory 0

While saving an Inventory Item, we should give a warning “Unit of Measure (Inventory/Purchase/Recipe units) cannot be modified after saving” and it should be grayed out if they edit after saving.
