Add Table Number on Transaction Report
Customer is request to have the table number/name on the transaction report. At the moment, to see it, you have to preview the PDF of the receipt (for CC transactions) and email the receipt to yourself for cash transactions.
It would be nice to add the column to the report and it could even be toggled on and off like the other fields on the report.
Menu Item Name on Modifier Screens
When editing a menu item, the pink header says "Menu Item". I have on multiple occasions questioned whether or not I selected the right item and there's no identifier other than under the Basic Details screen. It would be really nice having it say something like "Menu Item - Pepperoni Pizza" so you know you're editing the correct item.
Auto Highlight on Tab
When customers are doing data entry or bulk price changing, using tab to jump between fields does not automatically highlight the existing text in the field. If someone is going to be updating pricing in bulk or simply making changes to existing items, you need to use your mouse to highlight the text that is already in the space which either requires several extra keystrokes or using the mouse to highlight the text before pressing delete, then entering the new data.
If the fields auto-highlighted the current text, it would make menu changes MUCH more efficient.
We Need a TRAINING MODE for both iOS / Android
Our biggest competitors have this feature and people looking for a NEW solution over their Legacy System are used to having this system (Aloha, Micros, Aldelo, Revel, Lightspeed/Breadcrumb and TOAST)
This allows the restauranteur to better train their new FOH Statff (Server/Cashier/Bartender etc…) to use the system and helps minimize costly mistakes with both cash and credit card transaction as well as staff turn over.
This can be a JOB CODE Called FOH TRAINING. This can be a permanent Job Code which can’t be deleted or adjusted.
While having this “FOH TRAINING” Job Code this is what happens when they use it:
- Allows for employee to Clock in / Out - Keeps track of the "Training Staff Members" clock in/out time.
- Any and all sales performed under this FOH Training, do not add to the sales.
- the phrase "TRAINING CHECK - DO NOT PAY" Shows on the Top and Bottom of the Customer Check when they print it out.
- When teaching staff to close "Cash Payments" gets replaced with “TRAINING CASH” either way does not add to the Cash Sales
- Same with Credit Cards - Where it will ask for a card but will not Charge the card so they can go through the process of inserting/tapping a card and learning how to enter the Tips. Gets replaced with “TRAINING CREDIT CARD” and does not add to the batch.
- CASHIER-OUT (Check-Out) allows the trainee to go through the process of doing a Cashier Out and start getting familiar with the process. Learning how to read the Cashier Out Report
OR Have a Toggle Switch on an iPad or Android Tablet to put the Tablet into "TRAINING MODE" and not sync with the other Tablets with the Same features above. Have this Toggle Accessible only by having Permission under Job Code granted to a Manager/Supervisor
See iPad configuration on Back Office
It would be amazing to somehow see the store's iPad configuration somewhere on the back office.
Just view what is enabled in Operations, what's in POS Settings, which Order Types are enabled etc.
Don't want to make changes only view so we can better troubleshoot.
Like a simple categorised list:
Till Settings
- Enable Employees To Set Till: Enabled
- Set Default Till as Global: Enabled
- Enable Dual Cash Drawer: Disabled
- etc. etc
Would this info be possible to pull?
INTEGRATION WITH SKIP THE DISHES, UBER EATS AND DOORDASH

My store name is VANCOUVER PIZZA KITCHEN. We want to integrate with skip the dishes, uber eats and door dash delivery service providers. Skip the dishes and uber eats are the biggest players in canada. Atleast , you should provide direct integration with them instead of through chowly. since chowly is asking for addition charges. As per my discussion with your team member, uber eats direct integration is under process so i am suggessting you to look for skip the dishes too as the are best service providers in canada and user prefer them... Looking forward to hearing from you.
role permission enhancement
role permissions should be enhanced. an example is -
we want to give permissions for back office log in to only adjust inventory.
however there is no way to allow this without the user having full access to all the tabs under inventory allowing them to make any change.
Also there is no way to hide the dashboard, a user can see sensitive sales information
Production Report future orders
Clients that take future orders including catering need a production report that aggregates like items.
Example:
200 Pieces of Chicken Breast
20 chocolate cakes
10 Large Pizzas
Etc
include number of tables in server report
I would like to see the cashier out or server report to include the number of tables served per server. i.e Seth served 4 tables and Jes served 9 tables on 5/23
