Provide DISPLAY and PRINT names for Menu Items, Modifier Groups, and Modifiers
As you know, we have at least 3 Destinations for the Menu.
1. POS
2. Web Order3.
3. Mobile Order
4. Self-Serve KIOSK.
The last 3 destinations: Web Order, Mobile Order, and Self-Serve KIOSK. The Customers will be the one whole will see the menu and type in their own order. So, we need to provide a very easy-of-use menu so they don't confuse. There are things that can help the simplification
1. Provide DISPLAY and Print Name as 2 Separate things. Right now, whatever the item names will be printed on Label and Receipt. As you are aware, Print on paper is limited in Size. So the name must be shortened to fit into the limitation. However, Shorten the name will cause the issue of readability of the names (items/modifiers,etc). By Providing DISPLAY NAME and Print Name separately, it will help both sides (Print side and Customer Read side)
2. Images for different Destinations: Image of Product and Modifier will help customers to make their choices easier. However, images will clutter the POS side while on the POS side, the text is far more important. Right now, If IMages of products/modifiers are available, it will REPLACE the TEXT on POS. Note: Text will be cut off due to the size of the button, Causing the issue for our Cashier to determine which item when the customer place the order. So, if you can provide a configuration for Images to be selected for different destinations, that would help easy-of-use of our menu.
3. Modifiers for different Destinations: Right now, you allow to select which menu item to be available in different destinations (Web, Mobile, or Self Serve, POS). However, you don't provide the capability to for MOdifiers (same as for Images). We want simple modifiers when Customers view and do the order on their own. By providing the capability for us to select which Modifier for which Destinations, will help ease-of-use of the Menu when customers view and do their own ordering. It also provides the flexibility for complex customization that can only be done in-store or at POS only.
Report/Sales Tracking Enhancement for the different points of sale
We would like to be able to compare sales from the different platforms. in extension, they should also be separate on the store dashboard as well with the combined being the main/default. OLO already has its own tab on the dashboard but as far as I can tell Mobile is grouped in with this one.
This would mean being able to differentiate between the different methods of sales:
- iPad POS
- Web Order
- Mobile Order
- Kiosk
Cashier Out Report with credit cards
It would enhance the employee check out process if they could audit their credit card activity on their Cashier Out Report. It would be listed with the check number, last 4 of the card, tip, and total. This would help prevent or minimize mistakes made when entering in tips on checks as the employee can audit it themselves for accuracy plus you can then compare the printed receipts vs. this report to ensure you have all of your cards/checks as well. Managers do like this feature.
Allow swipe to sign in on the Android GO POS
Since staff can only use a PIN or an Employee Card, we need the ability to login to all POS including the GO version on A77.
If staff can't swipe to sign in on A77 they have to memorize the card number and this also defeats the purpose of using cards, namely security for the manager profiles.

Language Options
I would love to see some customizability on the wording and language used within the Linga POS and through the Online Ordering platform. The "Got Nothing" on the main ordering screen confuses my employees, and I'd love to be able to customize the message there. Same for the default "Walkin" customer and "Phone Order" tab, since we don't take phone orders and instead this is where all the online orders come through. Other ordering platforms I've used have had a section in the back office to customize the language used throughout the platform (including error messages, notifications, etc.) and it would be awesome to see something like that implemented in Linga.

Show order times of available hours only
When you click a time to pick up your order it is currently displaying every 5 minutes for every hour without respecting the stores hours. Yes the store hours are posted in very small text above but try explaining that to the frustrated customer who wanted his order outside of those hours and didn't notice that small text. It may not seem like a big issue but you don't know about the customer who never placed their order because of this.
Please verify this again, it only shows the hours within the store open/close and based on pickup/delivery slot.
