Yield Calculation - Sub Recipe - Inventory Item
In regards to the newly published Inventory Yield CR.
Following scenario and problem which I believe has not been fixed.
I am having the same raw material - e.g. Tomato as Inventory Item.
Now that inventory item as raw material is used and linked in and to several sub-recipes; below 3 examples:
- Sub Recipe No 1 - Tomato Sauce - means i am using the entire Tomato, Yield is 100% of that particular Inventory Item
- Sub Recipe No 2 - Arabic Salad - i am using the tomato peeled and gutted, means the Yield is 42 % only
- Sub Recipe No 3 - Tomato Salad - i am using the tomato peeled, means the Yield is 91 %
We need to have a colum next to Quantity in the Sub Recipe in order to enter the Yield % of that particular Inventory Item for correct COG Calculation.
Inventory Items New UI
1. Attributes once created do not automatically create the stock item through the system without creating it as a "track Inventory item" syncing of the inventory 1st. Note: When this is done through the system it increases the number of inventory stock items through the system. |
Inventory Break Pack
Allow Inventory items to be in break packs. For example you can add a case to inventory that case contains 20 items. You receive 5 cases, so inventory knows you have 5 cases and 100 items, if you sell 1 item you now have 4 cases and 99 items. You then sell a case, you now have 3 cases or 79 items
Inventory Label Print
It would be amazing to have the ability to print inventory labels
Often Chefs will cook a batch of Soup and then portion it out into smaller containers for freezing... we need the product name and date on a label for each portion . Same goes for other inventory items.... we often break down a large container into smaller containers and again we need labels for the portion container.
if we could print x number of labels from the Inventory product screen it would really help the chefs
Total Value On Hand Inaccurate when filering the Inventory Item list
When filtering the Inventory Item list by a particular category. The Total Value On Hand amount still shows the total value on hand for all items and not just the category that was filtered by.
