Gift Card Liability Report

This would be helpful as well as a report that would simply give a total outstanding liability of all gift cards so we don't have to run multiple reports or one big report and then massage in Excel.

Is there a simple way to get an outstanding Gift Card Liability report?

Any thoughts on this? I have a customer whose accountant wants a Gift Card Liability report each month and at the moment, we cannot provide this in the software and have to submit a request to Dev to get the information. Seems like it would be a fairly easy report to create. I believe they just need to see the total outstanding gift card liability amount each month.

Can you share the sample report that you are looking far? 

I don't have a specific design in mind but we would like to be able to run a gift card liability report that would show, as the date selected, that total outstanding gift card liability for the merchant. It doesn't necessarily even need to list all the outstanding gift cards if it would give the total outstanding balances on all gift cards that have been sold. Does that make sense?
