Pricing for Retail Items

Sean Tinsman 4 years ago in Backoffice updated by Ryan Nicley 8 months ago 3

Linga currently uses a “markup percentage pricing method to set the selling price of a retail item. This makes the process of creating retail items much longer. Additionally it gives the merchant less control over desired pricing and forces the use to use decimals. We would like the ability to simply enter our item cost and item selling price as well without margin input requirement. Please see example included.

This is a huge need. We primarily with with restaurants and use menu items but we just did a wine store that has a cafe attached and now that we are working with retail items, we noticed this right away. We really need the ability to not have to use the markup percentage and just be able to enter a Price and a Cost.

This is even noted as needed in the knowledge base.
