POS Sync on Logout
I think it would be a great feature if we could toggle on a setting allowing automatic terminal syncing on log out. Often times on big deployments, we will add features or change settings, and have to inform customers to sync all their terminals. It would be very convenient, especially for remote support, if we could enable an option for the iOS and/or Android apps to call for a BO sync on logout.

This would be great. I was under the impression that the devices would auto-sync at some point during normal use but I don't have definitive information on that or know if it's even true.
Maybe upon automatic close day it calls for a sync, but I have not tested this yet.
I do know first-hand, changing modifier routing or the like are not automatically synced as we changed settings in the AM, synced a few terminals, and by the evening, on the remaining terminals, through multiple logins/logoffs, were still operating on the old database.
Interesting. Yes, I have always just told the merchant to sync all iPads anytime a change is requested, but having a mechanism that would trigger the sync would be nice
I have 7 terminals and sometimes a change has to be made in the middle of dinner service. I therefore run around trying to sync all ipads after the change has been made.
YES. The system should just auto-sync every so often.

But whether that is possible or not, I think this 'POS sync on logout' would be great and should be an option as well.
I hope more people see this topic and upvote it, we are getting more and more accounts with several stations and going station to station when it's more than 5 is so impractical. Especially when the merchant realizes they forgot to tell you something and you have to do it again and again.
